With three national series races within an hour of Dublin (almost!) this was always going to be a weekend jam packed with the Pulse colours. It's impossible to highlight any one individual performance, triathlon is an individual sport but Pulse succeeded in turning it into a team event over the weekend ............ all well within the rules of course! Congratulations to all involved.
Read on for a couple of view's on the weekend's proceedings ........... sprint report just in!

The North West Triathlon Club hosted the Ulster Sprint Championships on Sunday morning in Derry. Three of the club stalwarts, Vincent Galvin, Liam McFadden and myself (Dermot Duffy) ventured up to the Maiden City to part take in what was also a National Series event. The venue also happened to be my hometown race and my army of fans donned the streets to offer their much appreciated support on this the 25th anniversary of the Liam Ball triathlon.

Race season doesn't come much better than this. One of the most idyllic picture postcard locations in the country hosting a community based triathlon baked with the summer sun. Throw the large travelling Pulse crew into the mix and suddenly anything can happen. Read on for a full report on the days proceedings. Thanks to Paul McGirr for a totally unbiased journal of the day's events.
Closer to home, congratulations to Colin on taking top spot in Kilcock

Pulse was the colour at the Fingal Sprint Triathlon at the weekend. A great club turnout with lots of newer members stepping up to the mark for their first full triathlon.
Congratulations to Colin Bolger who raced superbly to take second place despite feeling off colour on the day.
A big thanks to Alma for providing a report of the day's events........ read on for the full low down.
