Two Provinces Triathlon – 14th July 2018

Last Saturday, it was round 7 of the BMW Triathlon National Series with the Two Provinces Triathlon at Lanesboro.  It was also the second race in the Triathlon Ireland Super Series.

There was a prize of €500 for the best club, which was awarded based on a combination of points scored and number of entries.  Pulse won!  This was a super team effort with everybody contributing on the day.  Well done to all.

Esther Bayon was 2nd overall female in the Sprint race, and Mark Dunne did us very proud racing in the Super Series.   Well done Esther and Mark.

It was also the Pulse Club Championship Sprint race with prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd female Pulsers.  Congratulations to Kieran Hopkins, Esther Bayon, Vincent Galvin, Sarah Stapleton, Daire Nulty and Dee Needham.  Prize giving will be at the BBQ on the 11th of August.
Well done also to Esther Bayon, Kieran Hopkins , Sarah Stapleton, Vincent Galvin, Aine Kelly and John Kirwan who were AG winners on the day,

Jen Shorten was the over female winner in the Aquabike event.  Well done Jen!
It was a great day out for the club.  Well done to everyone who raced and supported.
